ABOUT SOME VOICES CHOIR

SOME VOICES choir began in 2010 when founder Laura Howe started meeting with a small group of friends to sing and socialise in London. Since then, our choir has grown to over 1,400 members, rehearsing in 15 locations across London and now in Brighton, Bristol, Cambridge, Margate, Newcastle, Portsmouth, St Albans, Stroud, Wimborne and York. And from Spring 2024, Some Voices is going international with brand new choirs in Amsterdam and Paris!

Musical Directors Laura Howe and Curtis Stansfield have developed Some Voices’ signature sound and style with their original arrangements of popular tracks. Our eclectic repertoire spans disco, pop, folk, hip hop, rap, indie and more, all brought together with stunning harmonies and a Some Voices twist.

WHAT WE DO

Some Voices is a non-audition contemporary choir, we run regular weekly rehearsals for our members to sing together and provide performance opportunities at our own shows and externally. Our main choirs are open to all adults over 18, no prevoius experience is needed.

For our members, Some Voices is about more than singing together, it is about being part of a supportive community and creating memorable moments together.

Some Voices also has a professional choir, available to hire for corporate events, weddings and more.

The choir is run by our Musical Directors, supported by our choir leaders and the core team.
