Some Voices is a contemporary choir that makes singing accessible to everyone. We welcome all voices - there are no auditions, no experienced needed, it’s all about having fun together in a relaxed, friendly community.
We learn original arrangements of a wide range of pop, indie, soul and disco music, and everything is taught by repetition so you don’t need to be able to read music or have any experience of singing before.

PORTSMOUTH CHOIR REHEARSAL DETAILS
Some Voices Portsmouth Choir rehearsals are held at:
King's Church - Lower Hall
Somers Rd, Southsea, Portsmouth PO5 4QA
Sessions are every Thursday, 7:00-8:30pm
Each term is 10 weeks and costs £110.
Travel: 12 min walk from Portsmouth & Southsea station.
Parking: 3hrs parking allowed on road.
Accessibility: The Church & Centre are Disability Inclusion venues, hosting a fully equipped 'Changing Places' toilet and changing facility.
YOUR LEADER - NATASHA BURNS
Natasha is a south-coast based musician with over 15 years of experience performing, teaching, and directing choirs all over the world from Bristol to Bangkok. Currently combining lecturing at the University of Southampton with private work, Natasha is deeply passionate about making the joy of singing accessible to all.
Fuelled by the vibrant community spirit of Portsmouth, Natasha is excited to bring the infectious enthusiasm of Some Voices to the vibrant music scene that the city is known for.

HOW TO JOIN SOME VOICES PORTSMOUTH CHOIR
We run three terms through the year from January to March, April to July and September to December. But you are welcome to join at any point in the term, as long as we have spaces available.
Membership is £110 per term, which includes 10 weekly rehearsals, an extended intensive rehearsal, a performance opportunity and all the online resources you need to practice at home. We also offer additional member benefits including big rehearsals with other choirs, external performances and socials.
