Romeo + Juliet – Royal Festival Hall, 2015

July 15’ saw Some Voices take over Southbank Centre with their choral re-telling of Baz Luhrmann’s much-loved film Romeo + Juliet, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes.

With their voices ringing out the soundtrack of the greatest love story ever told, they performed an immersive event that placed Southbank at the very heart of the Shakespearean family feud. The show featured ‘Kissing You’, ‘Lovefool’ and ‘Everybody’s Free’ as well as an original arrangement of Jeff Buckley’s ‘Hallelujah’.

With Neon crosses, incense and the spectacular tale of romance, Some Voices transformed the promenade in this stand alone performance at the Festival of Love.
