some voices AMSTERDAM
Some Voices is a non-audition, contemporary choir that is all about having fun singing together. We started in the UK in 2010 and launched our first international choir in Amsterdam in February 2024.
Our Winter term starts Tuesday 24 September 2024. All voices are welcome, you don’t need any experience, just a passion for singing!
If it’s first time with Some Voices, you’ll be able to try out your first rehearsal for FREE with our free taster session!
HOW TO JOIN SOME VOICES AMSTERDAM CHOIR
The Amsterdam choir is open to everyone over 18 - we don’t hold auditions and you don’t need to read music.
We run three terms per year, usually from January to March, May to July and September to December. Every term has a new theme to keep things fresh and ends with a performance in a fantastic venue so your friends and family can enjoy your wonderful harmonies.
All our music is learned by ear, and we’ll send you an online folder with audio recordings to help you practice at home.

YOUR LEADER - FRIDOLIJN VAN POLL
Fridolijn is an Amsterdam based singer and song-writer known for her evocative sound.
Jazzism magazine gave Fridolijn's solo debut ‘Catching Currents’ a glorious spot in their year’s top 10 list and wrote: “Had Nick Drake been a graceful young woman living this day in age, this is the album she would have made.”
With millions of streams on Spotify, international shows on stages like Billboard Live Tokyo, North Sea Jazz Festival, The Tabernacle London, and Concertgebouw Amsterdam, and press coverage on blogs like Written in Music and NoDepression, Fridolijn has steadily been making a name for herself.
She is super excited to be leading our first international choir in Amsterdam.
