Some Voices Membership Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Some Voices. We want joining Some Voices to be simple, clear and welcoming. Here’s everything you need to know about how membership works.

1. Your Membership

Your membership is just for you – it can’t be transferred to someone else.

2. Fees & Payments

Each term costs £116 / €130.
We spread this over 4 equal monthly payments (£29 / €35).
Payments are taken on the 1st or 15th of the month – you choose which when you join.
Sometimes your last payment for a term may come after your final rehearsal or performance (this depends on how our term dates work across each year).

3. Our Terms

We have three terms each year:
- Spring: January → April
- Summer: May → August
- Winter: September → December

4. Rolling Membership

Your membership will automatically continue into the next term unless you tell us you’d like to cancel.
If you want to cancel at the end of a term, let us know at least 30 days before your first payment date for the new term.

5. Cancelling Your Membership

You can cancel in two ways:

Leave mid-term – If it’s before your Week 9 rehearsal, members need to give us 30 days’ notice and we’ll end your membership.
End-of-term – If you’re staying until the end of the current term but not returning next term, your membership will end automatically after your final payment providing you've given us at least 30 days' notice.
After Week 9, only the end-of-term option is available.
The cancellation form is available from your monthly invoice, which you’ll receive via email.

6. Member Activation Fee

There’s a £1 one-off activation fee when you sign up.
This gives you instant access to your membership link – with all your music, recordings, lyrics, and term details.
You do not need to pay this again as long as you stay a member with us. If you cancel and rejoin, you will need to pay the activation fee again.

7. Free Tasters

We don’t expect anyone to commit without trying us first – free taster sessions are available.

8. Schedules & Leadership

Sometimes we may need to change choir schedules, locations, or leaders – we’ll always let you know as early as possible.

9. Being a Member

Please treat fellow members, leaders, and guests with respect and inclusivity.
Any form of harassment, bullying, or discrimination isn’t tolerated and could mean your membership ends immediately with no refund.
By becoming a member you are agreeing to adhere to our membership policy, which is available to read in full here.

10. Photography & Video

We sometimes take photos and videos at rehearsals or events for promotional purposes.
If you’d prefer not to be included, just let us know in writing (details in your member link).

11. Privacy

We take your personal data seriously and handle it according to our Privacy Policy (available on our website).

12. Using Our Name & Materials

Please don’t use the Some Voices name, brand, or materials for personal promotion without our permission.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will always let you know via email or on our website.
Continuing your membership after changes means you accept the updated terms.
