In September Some Voices took you on a whistle-stop tour of Baywatch to San Jose, and saw out the summer in musical style. From ‘60s flower power to ‘70s boogie and ‘80s hair rock to ‘90s hip-hop, we sang that last bit of sunshine into your California Soul.
Laura here, I am doing a super exciting gig with some great artists this August that I would love to get you involved in. David Byrne (Talking Heads) is curating the Meltdown Festival and I have been asked to write the vocal arrangements for a gig that he is doing with Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip) and Pat Mahoney (LCD Soundsystem) to celebrate the music of Nigerian funk artist William Onyeabor
