Your email will tell you what song we will be learning and give you the lyrics ready for your session.
We will also send you a reminder on the day of your Free Taster session.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN MY TASTER SESSION?
You don’t need to prepare anything for your session, just turn up and sing. Bring along the lyrics from your confirmation email - on your phone is fine.
There are no auditions and you’ll never be asked to sing alone - unless you want to!
At your rehearsal, you will be greeted by one of our friendly volunteers or your choir leader, who will sign you in on the register and show you where to sit for your voice part - if you don’t know what that is, see below.

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH PART TO SING?
Everyone is welcome at Some Voices, whether you are new to singing or have loads of experience.
To create our marvellous harmonies, we divide the choir into three main voice parts:
Soprano - these are the highest voices
Alto - these are the middle voices
Tenor - these are the lowest voices
If you aren’t sure which suits you, your leader will encourage you to try one part but you can change at any time until you feel comfortable.
