Some Vocies choir sings with Sam Ryder at Prince's Trust Award

On 16th May 2023, Some Voices Company Choir had the great honour of singing with Eurovision star Sam Ryder at the Prince’s Trust Awards at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, London.

AN IMPROMPTU STREET PERFORMANCE

Sam was so excited by this version of his song that he decided to take to the streets, and ended up creating an impromptu performance of Mountain with Some Voices choir at the theatre’s stage door, watched by surprised and delighted passersby.

The Prince’s Trust Awards celebrate the extraordinary achievements of young people supported by The Trust, and their journeys to a positive future.

Hosted by Prince’s Trust Ambassadors Ant and Dec, among the guests were also a number the charity's celebrity supporters, including, Stanley Tucci, Stephen Graham, Nicola Adams, and Nile Rogers.

Some Voices has previously fundraised for the Prince’s Trust, raising over £6k in 2019.

Some Voices

SOME VOICES started small in 2010, with seven chorus members meeting up to perform original arrangements of popular classics that range from Bowie to Bjork, from Stevie Wonder to Stevie Nicks, from Folk to Hip Hop, and everything in between - all with a Some Voices twist.

Nine years down the line, more than 1500 singers are now part of the exciting ensemble that performs on some of the biggest stages in London. KOKO, The Southbank Centre, Oval Space,The Rivoli Ballroom, The Grand Clapham, HERE and The Troxy have all seen the group attract audiences in their thousands
