Hi, I’m Alex. Would you like to be part of a short film?
I need a dozen people to take part in a short horror film shooting in Hastings on Sat 26th Feb.
We’ll be in an amazing theatre set into the side of a cliff called St. Mary in the Castle (where they shot a recent Rag n Bone man video here: https://stmaryinthecastle.org.uk/hire-us/filming-and-photoshoot/ )
The film is a 3 minute piece made on Super 8 film for the Straight 8 challenge www.straight8.net where the winners usually premiere at Cannes (although this year for obvious reasons will premiere in London later in the year)
The story, with working title Echo’s Voice Box, is about a singer terrified of losing her voice, and I will need the extras to be in the theatre, surrounding and spooking her and it will involve some chanting / singing and movement, which I think will be perfect for Some Voicers.
Times tbc, but likely to be 12-5pm and we can offer £50 to cover expenses etc and refreshments will be provided. Everyone present will be required to have a negative lateral flow test taken in the morning and usual mask / hygiene measures will apply.
